Melocactus broadwayii [seeds]

$5.00 per packet of 10 seeds

Native to parts of the Caribbean, including Grenada, the Lesser Antilles and Tobago.

Melocacti are sometimes called Turk’s Cap cactus, due to the hat-like cephalium, which can begin to develop on the plant when they are a few years old.

Small deep pink flowers on top of cephalium.

Light: Full sun to part sun

Water: More in summer growing season, but allow to mostly dry between waterings. In winter, should be watered slightly more than desert cactus.

Temperature: More sensitive to cold than some cacti – should not be exposed to temps under 10C for any length of time.

Important: The above growing specifications are general guidelines. Each home or outdoor area has it’s own unique micro-climate which can influence a plant’s growth.
